It was my sister's birthday this month and I made her this card using Craftworks cards and Henbury Lane paper and a Kanban topper, something special for my special sister!

For Christmas, I made my kids teachers some easel calendars, thought they would be a little something special.

Welcome to November

Good morning, been having a little trouble posting, but I am back now.  Not been too busy on the card making front as half term takes up all my time, but I did manage a card for my mum to give to my cousin and also some money wallets for my sister to use at Christmas.

The birthday card, used a Jolly Nation image and some paper from Forever friends and I used a plain mount which I put through the cuttlebug with the spot and dots folder.

The money wallets are a simple design and then I printed off some digi stamps and used my promarkers to colour them in and cut the names with my cuttlebug (good old cuttlebug lol) and added some glitter ... hope you like them, be back with some new cards very soon x

New Cards

Finally got around to making some new cards last night!  The first is one I made for my sons friend, Scooby Doo and and some embossed backing.

Next was a plea for help from Buzz on DoCrafts.  It's her husband's 50th and she wanted him to have loads of cards ... so here it is lol

Hope you like them!

Off to do some more christmas shopping this week. Got quite a lot already ... just love Christmas xxx

Saturday Night - JUST lol

I gave my sister the art deco cards I made for her, she was over the moon.  I love it when my cards are so well received!

Went off to Lakeside shopping today with my Mum and my sister.  Spent 8 hours looking round the shops and visiting The Range.  Managed to get some bits for Christmas, so that was good, also managed to pick up some rather pretty flowers from The Works.  My sister has asked me to make some money wallets, so need to add them to the list ... the list of To Dos is growing, so need to get crafty very soon.

Will upload some pics as soon as I have some new bits to show you.

I am seriously considering a die cutting machine, the Cricut is favourite at the mo, was looking at the expression but think I might start with the Create and see how I get on, funds will have to allow first tho lol.  Any opinions?

New Cards

Some new cards made on commission.  The first is a KennyK digi stamp which I have coloured with ProMarkers.  This is for my nephew, from my MIL.

Next, is another card made on commission for my neighbour, it had to be pink and purple and even though for a 60th was not to have that on it lol!  I made this using My Craft Studio, Deco Follies, added some glitter to the feathers and a tough of gloss on the dresses.

Some new cards

Finally got back to some card making last night.  My sister asked me to make some art deco cards for her.  I used My Craft Studio Deco Follies and 8x8 cards from Craft Works that I picked up from Ally Pally.

I used Glossy Accents on the flowers and some of the folds in the dresses and glitter on the white fur on the Christmas card.

Hope you like them x

Then, after having a little play with my promarkers and stamps, thought I has better get on with my friend's birthday card.

I used a stray image I had and added and stamped Happy Birthday.

Saturday

It's Saturday again and my course work is finally over, sat up until 1am this morning getting it finished, then my lovely hubby gave me a lie in this morning.

Need to catch up with my card making now as a little behind, got an anniversary and a birthday to get done, then it's the eldest step-sons birthday next week too, so after making a laptop card for Jack, need to make something equally as impressive for Sam!

Going to have my breakfast now, I can smell the bacon cooking lol

Will post some more later x

What a Lovely Day

I can't believe what a beautiful day it is out there, I have just come back from Tesco (hurray lol) where I picked up a bbq for £6.00, what a bargain ... makes a change lol

My friend came for coffee this morning and I was showing her the colouring I had done with my promarkers, she thought they were fantastic (blush) and said he daughter would love them, I had one I had done in A4 so I gave it to her, she was thrilled.

Currently I am thinking about outlets where I can sell my cards, so watch this space lol

Have a lovely afternoon and will post some more goodies very soon.

A Word Book for my Brother and SIL

After feeling sorry for myself yesterday, I thought I had better check the date ... and low and behold it is my Brothers anniversary very soon.  I have made mum's card, as you know, but thought I had better get on with it ... then I drew a blank, a complete and utter blank ... I looked through the hundreds of images I have on cd, I looked through the dozens of deopage sheets that I have, then finally decided on a wordbook.  Probably not your traditional anniversary card or indeed colours, but hey I kinda like it, hope you do too x

I used the FunkyHands cd for this one, and some pearls (what else) on the front, then used my beloved new MS punch on the sentiments and finished it off with some ribbon.

Well, here goes ...
