Monday ... already!

Monday today, kids back at school, that was a quick half term!

It was Ed's birthday party today, so Emma was dressed up as a pirate and had a lovely time.  I hope he likes his pressie.

Going to make a start on a bag and matching purse next with a special request for doggy fabric! 

As soon as I have some piccies I will post them.

Cosmetics Bag

I was asked by my friend to make a cosmetics bag, in Cath Kidston to match the coin purse I made for her.  The finished article, is lined with waterproof fabric and measures approx 7 x 5 inches.

Ed's Birthday

Still feeling like poop, cough is still there and now have a bungy nose too :o(


It's my daughter's friends birthday next week, and he is having a pirate party ... a great excuse for a pirate inspired make!

So here it is, a drawstring bag made from skull and crossbone fabric and day of dead as the lining, and a matching coin purse.

My first drawstring bag, really quite proud of it!

Day of the Dead Purse

Managed an order last night ... in-between coughing lol

It is a purse in Day of the Dead fabric.  My friend had some of this fabric which she was given in America, and wanted to have a purse made from it.  There was just enough!

So, here is the finished article ...

I must admit, I am loving this one.

Starting on he next birthday gift tonight, and I must do some cards!

More Bags ...

Good evening, feeling rather rough, so this could be a little short lol

Finished my bag orders, and more are coming in, whoop whoop!

Here are the last two for the girls, both in oil cloth, one lined with green and the other with pink.

Next in the order book ... more purses, a couple of bags, a make up bag ... ...
